This page describes what caloriemama.ai itself does. The Calorie Mama app and the developer portal have their own policies, linked at the end.

Photos you upload to the demo

When you drop a photo on the demo, your browser shrinks it to 544 pixels and sends that copy to the Food AI recognition service, which is operated by Azumio. The service may keep uploaded photos to improve recognition. Do not upload photos you would not want kept. Nothing is uploaded until you choose or drop a file.

The contact form

What you type in the contact form is sent to a Google Form owned by Azumio and read by the team there. It is used to answer you and is not shared further.

Analytics

The site loads Google Tag Manager, which may load Google Analytics. This records page views and demo usage in aggregate, such as how many photos were recognized, not the photos themselves. No other trackers are loaded by this site.

Server logs

The web server keeps standard request logs, which include your IP address, for a limited time, to keep the service running and to diagnose problems.
